UGC Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
- Assistant-II: Bachelor’s degree (at least second class) with 5 years of experience in Purchase & Stores/Accounts/Establishment in a university, government, autonomous body, or reputed private firm.
- Assistant-I/Clerk-Typist: Typically 10th/12th pass or graduate level with typing skills (e.g., minimum 30 WPM in English for Clerk-Typist).
Age Limit and Relaxation
The age limit varies depending on the level of the post :
- For Assistant-II: Maximum 30 years.
- For Assistant-I & Clerk-Typist: Maximum 25 years.
- For Lab Attendant: Maximum 25 years.
